Second Hand Adria Caravan Spares
Hi I need second hand adria caravan spares and I have an old caravan that has been completely dismantled on the inside and is full of damp so I am looking for someone to take it away. Morning I require a gas locker door for a 1994 swift rapide 490 gxl. Can you assist? Thanks. Was checking if you have any bailey Orion 430/4 on site, looking for sideboard top for bailey. This is now discontinued.

Last night looking out my new Adria caravan replacement windows I could see we had some more snow, its very wet though so not a lot of it has lay on the ground. I have got some pictures for you all though of what is one the ground, or the car & van fronts rather. The snow is that wet and icy, that it isnt real snow if you get what i mean. There is still more forecast though. Here are my quick snaps from this morning.
Same here in North East Lancs. Snowed overnight but was gone by morning in the heavy rain that keeps putting in an appearance. Very windy with chill factor adding to the already low temp.

Got up for a drink at 4am this morning and it was snowing, and there was about an inch lying. It's all gone now tho. (Glasgow area)
Hi It tried to snow with the rain yesterday morning while I was out and about looking for adria caravan spare parts here in Derby but didn't come to much just heavy rain then cleared away to blue skies. Like today sunny but so very cold. Don't think it was this cold this time last year.

Adria Caravan Breakers
I am looking out for Adria caravan breakers to buy a inverter to run TV, digi/sky box and may be a lap top charger. Have been reading about Pure Sine Wave and Modified Sine Wave inverters. (did say it was a techi/James May question)
Pure Sine wave is best for running TV's computers etc but more expensive, Modified Sine Wave inverters are cheaper but may cause interference. What are people using and any advice. Need one that will run the TV with out making the picture fuzzy.

You get what you pay for in both the inverter and the device you are supplying. If I was connecting anything that I considered valuable [in a cash item value or digital stored memory sense] then I would go for pure sine wave. For a few extra quid. At a caravan scrap dealers.
I use a "modified sine wave" inverter to run my TV with no problems of fuzziness on the picture. It is however a good quality one, a £100 "Handy Mains" brought 10 years ago when inverters were very much more expensive than today.

Scrap My Caravan Near Me
I run a SONY TV with a 70 watt AC rated adaptor, with this 200 Watt inverter. However I have a second "Ring" "can" type inverter of 120 Watt continuous rating and that is not able to start the TV.
So it appears that the rating needs to be considerably higher than the adaptors power rating at least with the technology used in my SONY's adaptor.
This Ring unit operates my laptop, camera chargers etc with no problem with its waveform quality. All bought from a scrap my caravan near me.

Caravan Scrap Yards Near Me
Another point, when I'm buying from caravan scrap yards near me I watch out for fan cooled units they can make invasive noises in caravans. The Ring units fan is noisy, the Handy Mains has no fan and is relatively quite after an initial zing as it starts.
If you discuss your requirement with the seller then the sale of goods act allows you to return it if it does not work. Buying today I be looking at £30+ rather than £20 units.

Caravan Scrap
As an aside I use the Ring unit to drive my C-TEK 3600 battery charger to top up my caravan battery overnight from my car' battery. A very useful trick if camping away from mains. Using AC for the linking cable to minimise losses.
Hi my husband and I are new to the world of caravanning. We have our van at Aviemore and have left the awning up - our friend's come and stay in the awning. Question is ' can anybody recommend a caravan scrap good heater that will make the awning cozy through winter month's - gas preferably. Thanks.

Caravan Removal For Scrap
If you have the room a standard upright one where the cylinder goes in the back will be good.
Just thought I would bring this topic up, the reason is there must be many people who do not want to go out of the country with there caravan. I for one want to go to France but in the present situation we are unable to commit to France or Spain etc. So do you just tour in the UK if so why?
I toured UK all the time until this year when I went to France with the caravan for the first time and found out how easy it is. So there is no stopping me now I will have at least a trip abroad. After this caravan removal for scrap and new (well used) one is delivered.

Caravan Scrap Yard
Only tour UK for now, mainly because of the dog. She doesn't have a pet passport and she's such a handful I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving her at home with some one, or in kennels, etc.
Also I'm a relatively new driver and I've never even driven abroad, let alone with a caravan on the back. I would like to one day, but I think I would have to be going in a party and following some one. Maybe one of the escorted tours or joining a trip with the folks on here. Otherwise my new caravan could be going to a caravan scrap yard and I don't want that.
