Hi all. at the damaged repairable caravans sale yard. Well I would find it hard not to caravan any more. Although we don't go away for short weekend trips like we used to.
They just seem to take up too much time now...with the journey and setting up etc. We prefer to go for longer periods.i.e. weeks or longer which involves less packing and unpacking. But having the Motor Mover on this new Van has really helped.

I'm not knocking those of us who own one, but i tend to rather enjoy the portability of my car and caravan. I can pitch up onsite and use the car to get about leaving the caravan set up.
We also now think carefully ab out how far we will travel because of the petrol etc. and has been said getting the Van packed now does seem to take longer but just plan well ahead.
But I would hate to have to give it up completely.
I do hope you continue to go to the damaged caravan auctions. I am sure there is always someone out there that is willing to help you set up. Most Sites with Wardens I am sure would be more than willing to give a hand. It is just a case of asking really.

Stolen Recovered Caravans For Sale On Gumtree
I have only just started caravanning having bought stolen recovered caravans for sale on gumtree. but already I would be devastated if I ever had to give it up. I think finances would be the first thing that would stop me but I would do everything I could to keep going.
I am hoping I will maybe have a caravan next season that is completely self-sufficient, hot water, shower, heating, an inverter to run things off the battery, maybe a solar panel or generator to keep the battery charged.
So that providing I still have some where to store it, nights away won't cost too much if I went for cheaper CS sites. Petrol prices might also limit how far I am able to go so I'm hoping to be able to go further afield next season than I have been, while it's still affordable for me to do so.

I'm quite comfortable towing and reversing onto pitches, etc. I can set up myself if I need to but I'm physically not that strong and putting it back into the storage position in the garden does require extra help. Anyone seen those damaged caravans for sale gumtree?
Likewise one site I went to had a very narrow track around the pitches and that was on my first outing and I needed help with that, to push the caravan back onto the pitch. Hi do you have any used Gobur folding caravans for sale? |

One couple said to us if we needed anything just to give their caravan a knock, helped us find the taps, waste points, etc and similarly the wardens at Muasdale helped us pitch up as a matter of course and helped to back up the caravan when we were leaving. Didn't even need to ask.
The cost is keeping our caravanning to a minimum now even though we buy written off caravans for sale, we only get away about two or three times a year, plus I work every Saturday and every Sunday whereas my wife doesn't so that doesn't help.
