Camping Gas
It does seem the choices are being narrowed down - Given your powrtouch 4wd setup what would you consider is the turning circle you can achieve on a hard surface like concrete.
Yes the Riech was on a single axle mounted in front of the wheels the van had an AlKo spare wheel carrier. I am after a decent camping gas stove can you recommend any in particular?

Portable Stove
Last night I was sitting thinking (as you do) while boiling the kettle on my portable stove and I wondered if anyone had bought a caravan from a particular manafacturer and stuck with them for the next caravan(s) in the future. We up to now have had three vans, and all have been from different manafacturers:
1995 Lunar Premier 516 Silver Jubilee
2005 Abbey Avantage SL
2008 Bailey Pageant S6 Loire

Portable Gas Stove
I think which van you choose has many factors such as: personal choice, layout, manufacturer(s) that your local dealer does, price and most importantly weight.
So really the question that I'm asking is have you ever bought more than one caravan from the same manufacturer and why did you choose your current caravan?
As I'm on can any member give advice on which is the best portable gas stove, we often like to stop while out hiking and have a cuppa so it would make sense to have one.

Caravan Brakes
Personally we choose our current van as it had the right layout for us, the build quality was very good for the price and the upholstery and carpets were nice. We had heard this model was fitted with excellent caravan brakes, don't know how true it is but hey it could be right.
However our local dealer didn't sell Avondale caravans however they sourced us one from Orpington in Kent that was brand new and they brought it up here for us. Overall were happy with our purchase.

Alko Wheel Lock
I don't think I feel any loyalty to any manufacturer, I have had good caravans from Award years ago then they changed the design and I went elsewhere.
I don't think there is much loyalty either, depends what you see on the day most of the time. Usually more loyalty to caravan dealers.
We love coachman build quality they tow lovely, interiors are top spec we are on our third don't think we would go anywhere else. We also think the Alko wheel lock is the best of the lot.

Alko Caravan Wheel Lock
But for instance, I can see nothing on the market I would swap our van for at all at the moment, Swift or whatever.
We have owned 3 caravans. 2 Swifts and 1 Elddis, purchased from 3 different dealers. So, for us, we are neither loyal to a make nor a dealer. I suspect many or most are the same.
There will always be people that stick to a make such as Alko caravan wheel lock and / or a dealer regardless. I cannot understand this myself, but it happens.
