Hello. Looking for a north face base camp duffel xs and I have a 1991 Fiat Ducato with Elddis conversion to camper van. The upper windows on the Elddis section are leaking. We are looking for Sterling caravan replacement windows, also we have a flag pole and some things to fly on it but I hardly ever bother. It's the 2008 model (new), Mittle Judd were doing such a good deal on them, and offered a great p/ex - so couldn't resist.
And YES we have the flagpole and two bits to fly on it (bought at the National one year), used it the day we bought it and been under the bed since. Now to stop myself looking in the box and deciding to pop it back!

Congratulations for the new caravan. Yes stuff builds up over the caravanning season I guess for everyone so we clean out the Sterling Eccles replacement parts once a year which seams to work OK. All the best.
We have a clear out too but it's usually every 5 years or so when we change the van. We clear ours out every year when we winterise it. It still amazes me the amount of toot we accumulate during the season.

We are no different, when our van goes in for the annual service we take the opportunity to empty out all Sterling caravan spare parts and then only put back what is really needed.
When we changed recently I weighed and logged everything we took from the van, together with allowances for gas mover etc. Trained old school engineers do such things!

Yes it is frightening...We emptied out our Delta in the Summer of all we bought at a static caravan spares near me yard before parting with her....Put everything in one side of the Lounge. Crumbs. It took all one side too. I was gobsmacked.
Couldn't believe we had actually had that much stuff in there and that didn't include food or clothes. So many bits and bobs in Tupperware etc. Just in Case Motto..but over half didn't go back in the new One. Sods law says it won't be long before I want something that I have now left behind.

I reckon we all hear the same battle cry "that's handy for the van" and were hooked. Sucked in. Definitely agree with you there. I have not been tempted to fill the van yet with anything I don't need . have to keep the weight down as much as possible.
You are so lucky that you have not been tempted by all those little odds and ends that seem to be everywhere at the caravan breakers north east.You know the sorts of things that us vanners just can't do without. Anyway how do you know you won't need it till you buy it and then never use it. But good on ya for resisting.
